Lobster & Swan Swoon

It’s images like these that keep me coming back to the lovely Lobster & Swan blog again and again and again. Jeska Hearne has such a girly, romantic, cozy home… Her arrangements of things are so beautiful and it really is a photo of a living room like this that makes me want a fireplace so badly… Her mantle just melts my heart! But we can’t have it all which is why we visit the blogs of various virtual friends to find inspiration through the things that they have that we wish we did! :) ha!

I especially LOVE the prints she pointed out over at the V&A museum shop online… Jeska if you are reading this you make me happy always. :)

    I love the wall of pictures … we actually have something like that at home, made up of little pieces of artwork from small town artists and postcards collected on travels and even stones from special beaches all put into whatever wooden frame happens to fit. I look up at my collection and it reminds me of all the lovely places I’ve been! Anyway, the photo here reminded me of that :)

    Holly, you are still pondering over fireplace? What did you decide? Will you have a faux one in you house after all?

    @My Owl Barn – I don’t think so because I’m realizing that I don’t really have a practical spot for it….

    The book title “Pink Sugar” sounds like the name of a blog. The sweet botantical prints on the bottom would look lovely in someone’s powder room.

    Oh, that was a lovely thing to wake up to this morning! (Yes, a bit sleepy still…at almost 11 o’clock.) I love seeing how other people do their vignettes of pictures, you can always tell that each piece they hang on their wall has a special place in their heart.
