I discovered these great wall objects from The over on Joy’s blog this morning and found the vase particularly fascinating. I’d love something like this on the wall in my kitchen for flowers as I find that kitchens can often lack that certain softness and charm due to all of the shiny, smooth surfaces…
This is such a great vase and a fantastic idea — you could even use them in a row of 3 for a hallway or with two above and two below over a fireplace mantel. You could even put them on an office wall and instead of flowers, paint a bouquet of rulers or hand craft some flowers using pipe cleaners and fabric. Being creative at home is so much fun!
On another note, aren’t these anti-theft lunch bags a riot!? I love the things that The makes, they are so witty and fresh!

I just saw that frame/vase yesterday, and loved it! Such a sweet idea. Also I saw another fun vase idea the other day – a tiny test-tube style necklace with some baby’s breath in it. I’d never seen anything like it before, but love the idea of being able to wear real flowers in a necklace!

I agree, this is an awesome idea. I’ve been saving small cute jars and tins rather than recycling, and this might be a fun way to use them as vases.

What a good idea. Know what you mean about hard, shiny surfaces.

Wow I really really love these. So pretty, playful and definitely clever. You can do a lot with this creative idea. I think I’ll be trying something like this this weekend. I have a ton of glass bottles I’ve been collecting; maybe I can incorporate them…the point is the thoughts are brewing. Thanks for sharing.

second… that mauve-y pink behind that mirror is TO DIE FOR!!! Love that color!

Oh wow, these are truly creative framing ideas. I do like the vase on its own too, but the three frames in the hallway looks great too! Now I just need that beach summer house…
