Cactus and Quail Paper Goods

Oh Cactus and Quail — I am in love with everything on this gorgeous paper goods website — Just everything. And now I will introduce to you to paper product beauty that I know you’ll be equally enamored with… But first, their limited edition ornaments. Swoon! I want the one in the center for all year round to simply hang on the wall in my office — so pretty!

Owner and designer Jamie, who lives and works in sunny San Diego, was trained as an architect but decided to launch a paper products company using her modern illustrations, mainly for brides, though some things in her shop are available to purchase (like the ornaments above) or as a readymade item which means that the design is already done for you, you simply choose your colors and give her the information that you need on the card. You know, the deets.

About her work Jamie says, “I have found that I am happiest while making pretty graphics and getting messy with cutting, gluing and folding paper (instead of fussing about with beams & columns). After making invitations for my own wedding in 2008, I began designing bits of stationery goods for friends, and then friends of friends, and then friends of friends of friends, and so I have been inspired to launch Cactus and Quail.”
