   these are wonderful paintings (not to mention yummy-looking)! very realistic! i didn’t think they were paintings at first glance.

   Wow, i thought these were photo’s, but when i took a closer look at it i saw that it was painted. I like it. I also like to draw food especially cakes and icecream

   These paintings are adorable…they’re so fun and cheerful. I love the ice cream…there’s something about sprinkles that always makes me happy!

    Love them. I paint food, too, sometimes, and it actually helps me NOT want to eat it when I’m focusing on the visual aspect. So you may actually be helping some folks’ diet. Weird logic, I know, but it works for me.

    The candy canes are my fave as well. I think these would be great as a note card set or greeting cards too. If Joel has a rep, he should totally connect with publishers like Galison or Chronicle or Graphique de France for a license.

    Totally derivative of Wayne Thiebaud, but not as well executed.
