Verde Azul

December 1, 2011

Speaking of natural decorating, I heard from Lina María from Verde Azul earlier this week and had to dedicate a post to their lovely interiors products. Verde Azul is a design studio based in Medellin, Colombia that was launched four years ago by siblings Lina Maria and Juan Jose Rincon who happen to both be designers and illustrators. I love their wooden bulb lighting called Globo (so fun!) and faux bois cushions, don’t you? They make wall canvases too.

The bulbs are gorgeous … Did you know ‘Globo’ means balloon in Spanish … nice given that they look a bit like upside down hot air balloons too! The designs in the pics are so lovely – wintery but cosy, mmmm x
