I’ve been a bit under the weather this week so posting will be light, but I had to share the good news from Sweden — that Camilla Engman, an artist that so many of us love, has released some new prints, a 2012 calendar that I’ve just ordered AND a beautiful book about her dog Morran who recently passed away. The Morran Book Project is a delightful book that contains 236 illustrations from artists who contributed around the world with their very own take on Morran – I love all of the different impressions and find it fascinating how everyone sees a single dog so completely different from the other!
All profit from her beautiful book will go to the World Society for the Protection of Animals – Sweden (WSPA international). You can preview the book here.

I did not know Morran had passed. I am crying in my coffee. What an inspiration Morran was to so many–just like his Mom.
Hope you feel better.

Camilla is a great artist and I’m very happy to have participated in this project as many other Morran’s fans!
I have also ordered some copies of the books (the big one with all the illustrations and the small one with a selection of works). They are perfect as Christmas presents. :)

oh no no h ehas passed away, oh dear I feel for her and her partner, this things are so sad, I got one of her books and a the little one about morran, which I look at often. I love my cat to bits, and I can not think of anything happening to him…Morran rest in peace. She is very talented and the new calendar is just gorgeous. I hope you feel better soon, it is very cold in London, so plenty of hot drinks and cuddles from your husband…
