  • Reply Sandra March 12, 2012 at 5:35 pm

These are inspiring as a way to illustrate a blog post that differs from the usual photography. Reminds me of Debbie Needleman’s book “The Perfectly Imperfect Home” with water colour illustrations instead of photos.

Love the photos (and am working to learn how to do better photography) AND love the variety…

  • Reply Megan March 13, 2012 at 12:27 am

It is just amazing what one can do with water colors! I can never seem to keep the color ‘in the lines’ so when I see talent such as this I am amazed.

  • Reply Laura Ashton March 13, 2012 at 4:49 pm

Wow this is a lovely post! I am completely in love with watercolours. I am a botanical artist and can see the true creativity this artist has! Watercolour can be a challenge yet so rewarding too.

My favourite are the little “under the sea” like plants and collection of butterflies. :)

I think your artwork is just beautiful and vibrant. Is it possible to purchase the sushi artwork as a print. I would have to imagine there are many people like me who would love to have these artworks adorning their walls.
    Most sincerely,
    Laurel Grossman
