Etsy Take Five Tuesday

April 9, 2013

Hello friends, bloggers, internet! How are you today? Are you doing good. I thought I’d round up five lovely shops for you from Etsy that I’ve had my eye on lately so let’s get started and check out some cool handmade stuff!

Etsy Take Five Tuesday

No stranger to this blog, the beautiful handmade jewelry from Nest Pretty Things is always a favorite. I want to order so many things from this shop!

A featured shop currently on Etsy, I just love the botanical home care products by Kayce White at Haven. I wish these were available in Germany!

Lena Hanzel from Room for Emptiness in Berlin makes handprinted textiles, paper products and hand paints both vintage and new tableware. Really nice graphic feel.

Trixi Angermüller is Frau Sieben, who makes mostly wooden necklaces and candle holders in Hamburg, Germany with a very clean, modern Danish vibe.

If you love rubber stamps but not that into the ones you see in most craft stores, you may like the nature-inspired minimalist approach to stamping that Karmelo in Cologne, Germany takes to her designs. Really nice! My favorite is the cloud bordure, which one do you like?

Any etsy shops you’d love to tell me about? Share your own or the shop of someone you love in the comments section below to be considered in future columns.

Your picks are always right up my alley! Good to see some German shops there too, saves some shipping costs to me in the Netherlands ;)
I just opened my own shop three weeks ago; I make wearable items from sustainable hemp fabric, hand-printed with hand-carved stamps and non-toxic ink. Have a look if you like!

Every one of these shops made me very, very happy! The pretty bright colors to the more simplistic black and white palette all made my heart smile. Thanks for sharing.

One Etsy that I adore for paper products is ink kit shop. Everything she offers in her shop is lovely but I’m head over heels smitten by the hand-painted twig pencils. Here is a link to ink kit shop:

Here is a peak at my etsy shop if you’d like to rummage through:

I love Etsy both as a buyer and seller! I sell mostly vintage home goods, and pillows that I make with vintage textiles. I also have a newly developed, small line of greeting cards focused on infertility.

I am a big fan of your blog! I am also in love with these shops! I am also very proud of my own shop, http://www.etsy/shop/splendidantiquities. I have vintage items but recently started selling my own vintage pieces upcycled in vintage sewing patterns. They have a very graphic and rich patina! Check it out!

Hi Holly! I love your picks, especially the Room for Emptiness shop, so stylish minimalist designs!

I also have an Etsy shop of my own that I’ve launched a couple of months ago. I make hand-bound notebooks and decorate them with hand-stamped patterns and vintage fabrics. I make my own stamps by hand as well. I also have some prints and greeting cards and plan on expanding my collection with other paper goods.

Hello, I have been a reader of Decor8 for 5+ years- your blog is one of my inspiration go-to places. I rarely have the nerve to comment, but your super nice invite to promote an Etsy shop is idealistic. And though my heart is pounding as I type, I keep my mantra in my brain- “Never let fear decide your fate”.

I just opened a shop at the end of January-

Such a delightful roundup, Holly. I think one of Frau Sieben’s wooden bead necklaces might be winging its way to me soon!

Thanks for the invitation! My shop is I’m just about to do a huge restock with dozens of Liberty covered pretties, silk wreaths and much more.
