German Blog Book Tour: Wohnen mit Blumen
I want to pop in to THANK my dear German blogger friends (listed below) for being part of the Wohnen mit Blumen (Decorate With Flowers) book tour this week and next! I'm thrilled to see your reviews and to know that you like the book - it's always so scary to write a book and launch it, you're always wondering what people will think, right? You know, it's such a big deal when you put anything you do out into the world that is considered a creative project - "What will they say?" runs through your head quite a bit initially along with , "How will it be received?"... Especially in foreign markets. Well, Leslie and I are overjoyed to see the German market is very happy with our book. I can't wait until I go into stores here and see it - that will indeed be a wonderful moment for us both. I'm also hoping to plan a few workshops/parties in Germany, but most likely not until the summer/fall so I can take more time off to be with our baby first. He is so cuddly, I can't be away from him for long right now without missing him loads. But if I do a workshop locally, I can bring him with me and that would sure be nice.
Here is a round-up of our wonderful blogger friends supporting us on this tour: Ricarda at 23qm Stil // Inga at GlomeryLane // Danny from Cozy and Cuddly // Yvonne von Fräulein Klein // Anna von AnnaSterntale // Caro von Sodapop Design // Bine von WasEigenes // Igor von Happy Interior Blog und Elodie von Madame Love. A million thanks for your love and support, you guys!!!
Also, thank you to our German publisher, Callwey Verlag, for this and this. So... I'm currently listening to Billy Jean/Michael Jackson with my baby boy (he so far loves R&B music - not at all interested in classical or folk/indie stuff, seems he loves bass!) and having a wonderful day as we prepare to go out for a few hours to enjoy the warm sunshine in the park because it's mid to high 60s here right now and so, so beautiful outside - plus the cherry blossoms are in bloom! Hope you have a happy Friday too! I'll be back with a home tour to wrap up the week, so stay tuned!
xo, Holly
