Holly, is this a course for more seasoned bloggers or is it also meant for newbies? I’m relatively new to the blogging world and I’m not sure how to grow my blog mostly because I don’t know who reads it and why. Perhaps you can do a post about that if it’s not in the course?

@Kiana – It’s for all levels and I’m sure you will benefit by jumping in, networking with the other fab ladies in the class, etc. We’ll have fun, don’t miss out!!!!

I have fallen in love with my newborn as well (born at Christmas). My little prince made me realize that – besides anything – I want him to be proud of his mummy; this means one thing: that I lead my life by opening my heart and letting it speak. Therefore I am going to continue my (blog)writing; something that kept me going since I was young (36 now).. My Dutch blog is my best friend. But, due to Blogging Boss ( I am enrolling this evening) I am sure it will also become the platform of which my son will be proud. Thanks Holly for your inspiration and chance to enrichen my (blog)life.

I’ve been waiting for this course, forever! But I’m going overseas from 6 Oct to 20 Nov, and I am unsure if I will have proper internet access during this time.

For 6 Oct to 30 Oct, I’ll be in China, and I’m concerned about 1) if the website will be blocked over there and 2) if internet speed is ok. And from 1 Nov to 20 Nov, I will be going to the US with two little kids, and I’m not sure if I’d have the time.

What shall I do? And when will you next run this course or 2.0, Holly? Thank you!

    • Reply decor8 September 11, 2014 at 8:27 pm

@Lucy Chen – It will be awhile as I plan to totally change Blogging Your Way for 2015 and I will no longer have any of my current classes anymore – no more 2.0 or Blog Boss or any of them. So if you want in, this is it for several months. It sounds like you won’t have the time so just wait and join us next year when we have some different classes, I’m sure you will still love what we’ll teach and be just as excited for them!!!

Hi there! I am interested in bloging and learning about it, but I do not have a blog.I do my first baby steps with “bloging” on social media. Do I need to have an actual blog in relation to the course?

@Lana – Yes, it’s helpful to have a blog because you can apply what you are learning as you go. So just sign up with blogger.com or WordPress or Squarespace or whatever and create a blog and then work in the class to get it all pulled together, talk to other students and ask them for help/advice, etc. It’s a great way to kick yourself into gear!!!

    decor8,

Oh I see. I am excited for your new courses for sure.

I’ve read in your FAQ that the content will be removed from the website not long after the course ends, so I think you’re right, it’s better I wait for next year.

    Thank you, Holly.

    • Reply decor8 September 12, 2014 at 1:16 pm

@Lucy – All of the content is removed for each course and we will continue to do that in 2015, etc. We want students to take the class seriously and to get involved. We find that giving students indefinite access to course materials makes them NOT very interested in being present during class because they think they can do it anytime. And that means less participation in class, less “good energy”, and ultimately the experience for all is affected. I’ve taken classes online where materials can be accessed forever and I do not take it as serious as I do when there is a set time limit. In fact, I don’t even show up for class and log in after the class is over and then I feel alone and disconnected. So yeah, the class materials will always be taken down a few weeks after the class ends. It’s like going to college, you can’t go back to the classroom in 6 months and ask the teacher to teach you everything again because you weren’t really paying attention the first time… Right?

    Hi Holly!

    How are you?

I’ve been saving up since last year for your Style & Intention class, as you had it written, at one time, you were going be running it again in the Fall of 2014.

Where can I find a list of classes you are running this year?

Do you have a co-teacher for Blog Boss? Will there be any lessons on styling, photography, or design related to todays blog world?

Once the class is taken down, where are the lessons and information available for reference? is everything downloadable?

    Thanks much,
    Karla
