Vintage Revivals Blog

September 12, 2014

Hello and happy Friday everyone! I came across this rad blog recently and had to share it with you today because I’m just so impressed by the DIY projects on it. Some of them really speak to me. Here is a glimpse of this blog, called Vintage Revivals, authored by Mandi Gubler in Utah. What a creative lady! I’m particularly interested in how she is overhauling “The Nugget” which is a 1972 Bell Travel Trailer. You can follow that series here, the transformation is super fun to watch. This lady can also do just about anything with a Sharpie. Some of her rooms have the coolest walls that she simply used a Sharpie on and the whole time I thought it was expensive wallpaper…

What I love about her room reduxs is that everything is so affordable – she makes a good chunk of the cool things that you see in the images above – from the lighting to the wall treatments, plant holders, even a leather sling sofa that I fell in love with. She buys old leather sofas for their leather and turns it into pillows and more. Mandi is one cool lady.

    Hi Holly!

I love to see what kind of lovely DIY’s people make. Affordable is also a key word for example for me who is decorating my very first workspace/studio. I finally decided to go on my own and I’m so happy! Thanks for sharing!

I love her blog too! Please note, she used Sharpie PAINT PENS, not Sharpie markers on her walls. But aren’t they amazing!

I love her blog. As a poor grad student wife with no money, her DIY are so easy and cheap. I did the sharpie walls in my living room and I love them.
