Hi I’m Holly Becker. I’m a Bestselling Author, Designer, Photographer, and Online Course Creator for Creative Entrepreneurs.

I’ve worked with hundreds of clients from huge publishing houses to home owners looking to redesign their space, and famous design brands as a consultant or to help with styling and photographing their campaigns and catalogs.

I’ve taught thousands of students to become successful business owners, and I have worked as a professional interior + concept designer for over 16 years.

I want to share everything that I know about design and guide you as you build your own design career from the ground up like I did. I can save you years of learning in my sought after online courses.

I’m Holly Becker…

This has been my online home since 2006 where I’ve been blogging about home and living topics. I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with over 1.5 million readers worldwide who enjoy my musings which has inspired me to keep writing.

My approach to interior design is to keep it simple, warm and personal with well-being at the center. This blog covers a range of topics including artists and makers, sensory design, European and industry trends, handmade, vintage and sustainable design, flowers, tabletop decor, and interior styling. I also cover some business topics related to entrepreneurial female-owned businesses like my own.

I studied marketing and also interior design at university and today, I’m a bestselling interiors author with 4 books in 20 languages, and I’m an online educator, photographer and journalist with hundreds of articles published in magazines, newspapers, books and on websites. I photograph my own content and also shoot campaigns and catalogs for brands.

In 2009, I launched my own online courses about blogging because everyone kept asking me how to create a thriving online business as I have, and I happily stepped in to help. I’ve taught over 8,000 students to find their voice and passions but also they’ve learned concrete skills from me like how to create a brand, use social media, become a photographer and stylist, and how to build a sustainable, heart-centered business as I have.

In 2019, I collaborated with Grüner + Jahr in Germany as the co-founder and Creative Director of HOLLY magazine, a home and lifestyle magazine with me as the face of the brand, distributed in German-speaking Europe. In the same year, I also designed and launched my first interiors capsule collection with German mass retailer DEPOT.

Since 2023, I run my own decor8 community on Substack with over 15,000 subscribers. I also actively teach online and in-person workshops and I offer clients a bevy of professional services such as social media strategy, trend forecasting, lectures, trade show concepts and stand design, art direction, photography, and interior concepts and design for cafes, shops, and homes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for visiting me here.
