Ankasa: Bedding

I'm doing a lot of research around ethnic prints and patterns right now, so decor8 will reflect a lot of that this week. I love the work of Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia of Ankasa and just found out via blink decor that they're soon to open their own store in NYC.

I like their modern take on traditional patterns, especially all of the embroidered work, and the strong colors against crisp white. Makes me appreciate why so many love to keep the foundation pieces in their space neutral, a great canvas for layering in colors and patterns, swapping them with each season, or as your design mood changes. For me, that's monthly. :)
