Dallas Shaw at Miami’s Art Fusion Gallery

I have to share these images from artist, Dallas Shaw, taken on opening night of her exhibit at Miami’s Art Fusion Gallery in the design district. Click here to link to the Miami design district website, it’s the best to refer to when you travel there. Also bookmark The Hotel because it’s amazing and Todd Oldham redesigned it. Okay, back to Ms. Shaw…

Largely influenced by fashion and music, her acrylic paintings span from works on canvas to works on vintage wallpaper (so cool), cards, t-shirts, and prints. Some of the work shown here has already been sold, but you can contact Dallas directly to inquire about her work. Thanks for sending in these photos, Dallas – we love it all!

Hello Springtime from Jennifer Causey

Jennifer Causey (Simply Photo) is one seriously talented lady. I can’t gush enough about her work, and I know I always do, but I can’t help it (partly because I don’t want to!). I’m such a huge fan; I stalk her etsy store constantly for new photos. It’s borderline sickness, I know. She just launched her latest series called “Hello Springtime” – full on gorgeousness for sure. These postcards below are available in sets of 5 or 10. Enjoy!

Artsy Walls: Heidi from Rock Scissor Paper

Heidi from Rock Scissor Paper wants to share a photo of her bedroom wall. “It’s the view from my bed that I look at each morning and each night.” says Heidi. “I love looking at my artsy wall each day. Each piece has significance to me.”

“The artwork is a mish mash: Vintage architectural rendering, photography postcards,
an illustration torn from a New Yorker Magazine, a few oil pastels found on eBay,
a linocut found on eBay, and vintage prison photos from Folsom Prison in the 1920’s.” – Heidi
