Jennifer Sbranti, the amazing talent behind Hostess with the Mostess, is having a bunch of fun stationery giveaways on her blog all week and asked her blog pals if we could send over some of our readers. My answer, YES! So what are you waiting for, go check out the beautiful HWTM blog! If you recall, she was a Blog of the Week ages ago here on decor8 and has built herself quite a monster of a blog and website since then. So if you haven’t visited her lately, this is your chance! And you could win some free stuff too. Who doesn’t love that!?
Thanks Jennifer for the email! :) You are doing a fantastic job!

I really enjoy talking about other bloggers and sharing them with you, especially all the new decorating and creative blogs out there. There’s such an endless fountain of beauty and information that comes from so many places. It’s exciting to discover this endless stream, so refreshing!
Tamar from gorgeously green Shelburne, Vermont (a location we don’t hear about often in blogland), recently wrote in about her blog and decorating business, Nest Decorating. An interior decorator and crafter (she has an etsy store), Tamar writes about her passions in life that so many of us can relate to: decorating, gardening, and crafts. Of course, coming from her voice makes these topics fresh and unique, and seeing life in a Vermont setting is so appealing to me.
Great blog Tamar, thanks for sharing it with us!

Happiness is looking at a group of images that swells your heart with so much joy and causes your creative juices to overflow. Go ahead, indulge in the beauty that is the everyday life of Twelve22 in her previous London home, now Minneapolis home dated 1917. View Anna’s flickr sets here for even more visual goodness. Ah.
Would anyone with blogging interest and/or experience like to take my weekly spot over at 2Modern? They have a blog called Design Talk where I was a guest blogger (unpaid) for the past year, I guess I was their Girl Friday because I posted once every Friday.
Your weekly post need not be elaborate, check out their blog to see how other guest bloggers are doing it already. Just some text and an image or two. You can talk about design in general, from the art museum you visited recently in your city to the cool new trends you’ve spotted or a great print you found on Etsy. The assignment is unpaid, but the good thing is exposure – 2Modern already has an audience and in your post, you can place a link to your own spot on the web, even if that spot happens to be your own blog. Linking is never a bad thing!
If you’re interested..[5/4 update: Thanks to everyone that applied for this, I think we are all set at this point… But thank you again for all your emails of interest. I’ve replied to everyone that contacted me at this point, so I wish you all the best!]
