Present & Correct always has something to love with all their retro fabulousness. I love the idea of using vintage lunch trays as desk organizers — I remember those things so clearly and how we had pink ones at our school. What color were your school lunch trays?
I also remember how insane my classmates were about pizza day. And it’s funny because years later I had this déjà vu moment at work when a colleague came over to my desk and said, “Hey Hols, it’s buffalo chicken wrap day, we’ve gotta get over to the caf before they sell out”. I remember feeling like I was 10 years old again on pizza day. Funny how the more things change the more they stay the same, isn’t it?

You’re going to love these beautiful things for the home, I just know it! It’s been awhile since I wrote about Ferm Living but I was reminded of them today when a reader wrote in looking for some help with her bedroom walls. I sent her over to Ferm Living with some wallpaper suggestions and it was then that I noticed they’d added a bunch of new products to both of their websites in the US and in Europe. From wallpaper to poufs and candle holders… some of these things shown below are not available yet in the US online shop but you’ll need to check the website to know for sure. All things below are available in their European store though.
I really love mushroom soup wallpaper shown above — fun for the kitchen or to line cabinets. Here’s a decorating idea: It would also be nice to paint your kitchen a gorgeous chalky gray or even a warm, soft sand with crisp white trim and if you have a pantry for food, to wallpaper only the pantry with this mushroom paper. You could then use some of the mushroom tea towels in the kitchen area to bring it all together. How pretty!
How cute is this doll house and these bird pillows and soft mobile for baby?
I’m also liking the wall stickers called Sewing Room — and how they’ve artfully placed them in the kitchen around trash bins! See any favorites that you can imagine in your home?

Remember the sweet little shop tour we took last week when I introduced you to snug in my neighborhood? Well shop girls Berit and Kerstin just let me know that their little snug shop is open for business and that they will ship worldwide so if you see anything you like, show them a little love. :)
I plan to buy some of the candle holders shown above — they are so cute, you should see them in person! I want to line some up on my dining room table. :)
It’s no secret that Liberty of London will collaborate with Target to roll out a limited edition line of products in Target stores beginning March 14th – the blog world has been a-buzz. I’ve been trying to find out more about the actual products as I’ve only seen few photos out there of mugs and teacups, and as luck would have it their publicist contacted me yesterday with an entire press kit and I selected my favorites and shared them over on Real Simple. Click here to view over 30 items from this special fashion and home collection.
My favorites are pictured above — the ties are my absolute favorite from this collection because they look so nice at weddings in the spring and summer months and well, they’re quite preppy and being a southern girl I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for preppy boys or “snappy casual” which southern boys do so, so well — especially at weddings. I also like the candles, at least the packaging as I have no clue what they smell like… I would like maybe a few things but I don’t like to buy a lot from any single collection so if I had to choose I’d take some candles and the ties, please! Especially the yellow and gray tie with the mini cars on it. Adore!
What do you think of this collection? Be honest! Will it be a hit or miss for you? Who would you love to see work with Target on a collection, any designer come to mind? I vote for Madeline Weinrib. I’d love to see her patterns adorning Target, they have such a poor selection of rugs in my opinion and her designs would make such a difference to those of us who prefer cotton stripes and patterns in bold, modern colorways.
