Etsy Take Five Tuesday

Yes I know… You’re not confused because it’s really no longer Tuesday. I’m just posting this on a Wednesday, a day late, because I goofed and forgot to run it yesterday. Wow, do I owe you an apology for this running late. Sorrrryyyy. Hopefully my finds will make up for being tardy. :) Ready for this week’s round up of my favorite etsy shops? Okay, heeeere we go!

Etsy Take Five Tuesday

Hi Everyone! Marichelle here from Heart Handmade and Wunderlust filling in for Holly as she makes her way across the Atlantic and then some. Really ballsy move right?? I’m SO jealous!! (but very, very excited for her and Tee.) Alright let’s get this Etsy Take Five Tuesdays rollin’ shall we?

Etsy Take Five Tuesdays

1. Warsaw Made is a one woman operation and by the looks of things in her shop, Luren Jenison runs a pretty tight ship! I love her rustic utilitarian style and the best part is that it’s all surprisingly affordable! I’ve got my eye on the Farm Tote and the Grocery Sacks (comes in a great little pouch of its own).

2. Kristen, the creator of Moontea Artwork lives on a hay farm with a creek, an old barn and an orchard. Oh and if that wasn’t inspiring enough, it’s also just 30 minutes away from a brewery on the beach! And she owns 7 llamas…. Erm exactly! Who’s coming with me? Kristen, so is that the secret to creating a wonderful line of handprinted accessories and homewares? I’m a huge fan of the Lavender Sachets, you can never have too many of these! I stuff them in my drawers, keep them on my desk, by the windows, everywhere!

3. Osoo… oh Osoo! The original paintings were done with pencil and watercolor. The details are unbelievable, the colors mesmerizing. You really have to go to the shop to check out the larger images, especially the Butterfly! Beautiful.

4. Looking to do something creative? HyeKyung’s Nothing Elegant shop never fails to inspire. She stocks THE cutest stamps, deco tapes, stationery and desk accessories. How cute is that matchbook post-it note set for instance? Or the Antique Rubber Stamp Kit?

5. Let’s face it, there are a TON of jewelry shops on Etsy and the shops just keep comin’. Amy Olson’s designs were an immediate stand out and I couldn’t wait to share her work with everyone. Simply alluring! A punch of color is quietly tucked just so in each of the pieces, portraying a nice balance between bold and delicate. And not to mention the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G product shots!!!

Hope you saw a few of your favorites and discovered a couple of new ones! Holly will be back next week, reporting from her new hive and since I had the toughest time editing this down to just five I’ve decided to post some of my other picks on Heart Handmade today. Hope you enjoy them! Bye everyone! – Marichelle

Etsy Take Five Tuesday

Owl dresses (and shirts!), laser cut necklaces, small objects, perky prints, file folders, fabric featuring chairs and much, much more can be found in this week’s edition of Etsy Take Five Tuesday. I hope you enjoy my picks today as I enjoyed curating this little collection for you. Have fun!

Etsy Take Five Tuesday

me&oli has elegant laser cut jewelry and create a limited number of pretty things to wear like this silky cotton owl dress as featured in Frankie, an Australian fashion magazine that I adore. Oh this dress is my dream item, something I’d love to wear but I’m afraid I could never squeeze into anything cut for a 26″ waist – a dream I may never realize until I relocate and get rid of my car (I drive and sit way too much currently) but I’m considering the blouse in the same fabric because it comes in large. And it’s splendid!

Sarah and Leslie run both Urban Posture and an etsy shop called Good Posture. These talented ladies from Des Moines create environmentally friendly products for the the home and office in addition to their apparel for babies and ladies. They design and print all items by hand and use as many local resources as possible as they create.

Sloe Gin Fizz is Nicole Ray, an illustrator in Michigan with a whimsical eye and lots of perky prints for adorning your walls.

Scarlet Fig fabrics are just sooo cute it hurts just a little bit! :) Created by designer Laurie Wisbrun in Austin, Texas you will adore her birds, chairs, elephants and more. And don’t worry — if you don’t sew she also sells her fabric as pillow covers so you can still enjoy her designs in your home.

I can’t believe I’ve not featured The Small Object in this round up before! I’ve loved her work and even met her a few years ago and it just slipped my mind to mention her. I guess I feel like everyone who is online must know this girl. But if in a wee chance you do not, The Small Object is a doll and she creates the most darling little rubber stamps, custom wedding cake toppers (love!) and other imaginative, fun and inexpensive little things that you will no doubt adore.

Wasn’t this week’s round up cute? I thought so at least… :) I love all of the fun colors and whimsical designs – so much personality you can’t help but feel happy when you peek into these stores. Enjoy!
