Good morning friends! How are ya? I hope that you are ready for Etsy Take Five Tuesday because I thought I’d get started early on this column today. You can shop for art prints, cosmetic bags, cute slippers, porcelain jewelry, mid century vintage goods for the home and more. See what you like and have fun viewing today’s picks! Oh and just so you’re in the loop, next Tuesday I have a guest who will be here to share her favorite etsy shops since I’ll be in London so you won’t miss a beat!
Sophie Blackall. “Sophie Blackall has illustrated over fifteen books for children and her paintings and three dimensional works have been exhibited in galleries in Sydney, Paris and New York, which sounds like a shopping bag but is actually true.”
Lila Ruby King, “I am an Australian designer, currently based in Athens, Greece. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Arts, majoring in printmaking and with a minor in painting. I have since completed a Certificate IV in Jewelery Design and Manufacture.”
Jonty Bloom. “I am an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. I like color. I like nature. That’s why I live in New York City!”
Ameelia Bedelia.”I am a self-proclaimed pack-rat who gets way too much excitement out of very old things. I love the patterns, shapes and textures that came out of the mid-century era. I love discovering little pieces of history and using them to transform my space. Buying vintage is the ultimate in recycling, and I believe that used and re-used items have so much more character than what you find in stores today.”
JuJuBaju. “I’m Leila. Wife to a hardworking-so-I-can-stay-at-home-and-be-creative husband and mama to two beautiful-if-I-don’t-say-so-myself girls. We live in Winnemucca, NV. If you’ve every driven on I-80 you’ve probably stopped here for gas.”

Today for Etsy Take Five Tuesdays I thought I’d change things up a bit and instead of grouping by seller, I’d just toss out a whole bunch of beautiful things and let you have at them! :) I was so inspired by a sunny lemon theme that I saw on the Etsy home page today that I went with a little lemon, green and blue which — if you’ve been following decor8 this week so far — has been a bit of a color theme here on the blog. I usually get into the green/yellow/blue theme in April but this year it didn’t strike me until just a few days ago. But when it hits, it hits me hard because it’s such a brilliant, happy color combination don’t you think? Let’s see some beautiful things by a bunch of fantastic etsy sellers today, shall we?
Exhibit A: 1. Flores del sol, 2. Depuis, 3. Fleur Fatale, 4. Sleepy King, 5. Bonde and 6. Penny Wishes.
Exhibit B: 1. Siiso 2. Printed Pretties 3. Bonte, 4. Wilkintie, 5. Roseau, 6. Siiso, 7. Simply Hue, 8. Pocket Carnival and 9. 3 Lamps Graphics.
Exhibit C: 1. Tortoise Loves Donkey, 2. Honey Tree, 3. Roddy and Ginger, 4. Claudia Pearson and 5. Bonbi Forest.
What do you see that you like? I love that Abe Lincoln quote, don’t you? “Whatever you are, Be a good one.”- how true!

How are you doing? It’s time for Etsy Take Five Tuesdays and today I have some fabric, art prints, wallets, wooden letters and fashion illustrations to share with you for a little color and fun. One shop is even extending a special discount to her customers… Curious to see who it is? Let’s get started and you’ll find out!
Stylish Viv from Ish & Chi is not only a great blogger but also a talented decorator and artist based in Sydney, Australia. Her work is so pretty and girly — many of them originals!
Peggy Wolf is from Germany but who now lives in London. She studied fashion design and then discovered her talent lies not in designing clothes but in drawing them, along with beautiful women wearing her designs. I really like her aesthetic – her color choices are gorgeous!
Designer William Dohman from St. Paul, Minnesota has a passion for photography, prints and creating recycled wood signs.
Ever since watching Dear Sukie show Martha Stewart how her craft wallets are made I’ve been thinking about featuring Kristy Boucher’s work on decor8. She makes everything from moo card holders to holders for passports along with wallets in many sizes. Get 10% off your order when you tell me her that you found her on decor8 — Just write in the “Notes to Seller” box at checkout and she’ll refund 10% of your purchase to your Paypal account.
Fabric! Weeee! Can you ever get enough? Not me! Booster Seat is another great surface pattern designer on Etsy with fun fabrics made by Anda Corrie in Brooklyn.

Today you’ll find a slight red and blue focus, a little nautical and a little Scandinavian… and some very sweet scratch “save the date” cards and giant speech bubbles on a stick, too! Today is all about color, color, color and some cheeky fun.
Goldy Locks is a Danish-American designer who designs and makes party crafts by hand. She has a background in magazine publishing in the U.S. and recently relocated to Copenhagen to explore her Danish roots. Her work is available via downloadable PDF files in her etsy shop — small toppers for cupcakes or larger ones to hold in a photo, Goldy Locks is fun and fresh!
Suzanne Nicoll is an artist in Connecticut who runs a small design studio along with her husband. I imagine these mermaid prints would be so sweet in a child’s room, don’t you? Especially with bedding in sea tones and a sunny yellow ceramic lamp on the bedside table. Can you see that too?
Samantha French is currently focused on painting swimmers both above and underwater. I can see these in a crisp blue, black and white bathroom with a black beaded chandelier. You can view more of her beautiful work here on her website.
Daniel and Valeria from the vintage shop Hindsvik live in a small town in Canada where they share their love of vintage wares through their sweet etsy shop. New items added weekly!
Scratch and save the date? Is this not the cutest idea in the world? Artist Leslie Hamer in Chicago is brilliant. See more in her shop, Unless Someone Like You

Kinrisu is just draw dropping. I love these prints, I mean, I lurrrrve them. :)

Finally let’s ice this cake with the lovely Jenna Rose.
Hope you’ve enjoyed my finds for the week! Feel free to add any of your favorite shops in the comments section below. I just ask that you please do not link to your own shop because the goal is to highlight places where you shop on Etsy. :) :)
