Agatha Katzensprung Photography

The photography of Agatha Katzensprung is quite emotional, don’t you think? It’s photographers like Agatha that make us want to snap more photos and stretch our imagination. You have to look at her portfolio, gorgeous. A special thanks to Maryam for posting about Agatha, or else I may not have found her. What beauty! The image of the girl in the field, in her frilly dress, is my favorite. I think all women need to be photographed like this, in an empty field wearing something gorgeous. :)

Pop Cling – Adhesive Art!

Jason wrote in about Pop Cling, an adhesive wall art company, and I couldn’t wait to show you some of these wild ‘n wacky wall decals. Totally fun, what do you think?

Pop Cling is always seeking work from both established and emerging artists, so if you’re an interested artist, contact Jason here. I can totally see my friends in Berlin, Mike and Bloody Bunny, doing this kind of thing because they are both so talented and already have a following…

Thanks Jason for the tip!

Spiegel: Home

Some may consider Spiegel a bit old school (or oldskool, depending on your age), but I find some unique home decor items on their website from time to time. Have an open mind, sometimes the places where you least expect to find something great is where you really do.

For instance, Spiegel has a fantastic selection of lamps with graphical shades that speak very much to the patterned shade/solid base trend we’ve been seeing. Since shades are so easy to swap out, it’s actually a great idea to purchase a lamp base you love and simply swap out the shade from time to time, alternating between patterns and solids, to give your space an all new look. Spiegel also has some nice floral salad plates and these fabulous mirrored stars for adding the perfect touch of sparkle.

Sugar Loop

I’m a very satisfied Sugar Loop customer, her work is so pretty and affordable. Framed, it makes the perfect gift. The latest creation from Bernadette Sipkes’ New Zealand studio is this gocco/serigraph print in metallic gold ink, a limited edition of only 82 (hurry, only a few are left!). You really can’t go wrong for $10.- USD. Other designs are available right here. Enjoy!

Would you like to learn more about the artist? Here’s her blogspot.
