The images above (drool) are from Daily Candy Philadelphia today which featured the design studio of JJ Fox. DC calls Fox “an amazing interior designer who?ll work with any budget. She takes crusty brownstones and transforms them with modern twists, while keeping the history and integrity of the buildings intact. She can lend advice, pick out furniture to complement pieces you already have, or draw up plans for renovations or complete overhauls.”

Don’t you love that turquoise sofa?

Visit Fred Flare in Brooklyn!

Mia from Fred Flare would like decor8 readers to know about some fun shopping events in Brooklyn, starting this Friday. Here’s some info straight from Mia to you:

fredflare.com will once again be opening up shop for the Holidays!

WHAT: fredflare.com’s Weekend Winter Wonderland shopping events

WHEN: every Saturday and Sunday from November 25 – December 24, 11-5
(*we are also open Black Friday, November 24th 11-5 AND on Xmas Eve, December 24th, 11-5)

WHERE: 175 North 10th Street, in Williamsburg, between Bedford Avenue and Driggs Avenue only 3 blocks north of the Bedford stop on the L train.

WHY: because this is the only time of the year to get this up close and personal with Fred! That’s right, this means you will now have the chance to peruse our genius gift ideas and actually try on our adorable clothes and accessories in person! Finally, a chance to not only look at, but touch and feel, the beauty of fredflare.com’s inventive inventory!

- Mia

Thanks Mia for keeping decor8 readers in the know. So if you’re in Brooklyn between 11/24 and 12/24, don’t forget to hang with the flares on the weekends!

Mrs.Me (The Netherlands)

Oooooo look what Danielle from the Style Files wrote about today – Mrs.Me and their new ‘Falcon and the Swan’ collection. The moment I shared it with my husband, he said he wanted to outfit our entire bedroom this way. Hmmm. Perhaps this could be a great solution for couples that cannot decide on how to decorate the bedroom. It’s either too girly or too masculine these days, but Mrs.Me seems to appeal equally to both sexes. I’m thrilled my husband is in step with this, perhaps I can jump on his request before he changes his mind? Now I just have to figure out how and where to order it since it seems to only be sold in Holland right now. I’ll email them and if I hear back some good news regarding US stores that carry them, I’ll update this post, deal?

Rollout Wallpaper (Vancouver)

I don’t think anyone has blogged about Vancouver-based Rollout yet except for monminiblogamoi, which amazes me because these guys have been around for awhile and have whipped out some pretty darn good stuff. Great to bookmark this one for your next design project! My favorite is the wallpaper shown above, with it’s swirly sea fans and fish, really nice to see the ocean presented this way – so soft and feminine. I love it.
