Lena Corwin

Oooooo….you’re in for a treat. I stumbled across some Lena Corwin pillows recently that I just love. I can’t wait until her spiffy plates are available online, they’re extra sweet. Lena Corwin, who spends her time between San Francisco and New York, is a talented designer whose artwork and patterns have been used by Tocca, Trina Turk, Anna Sui, Elle Decor, and Glamour magazine.

Yes, I know I’m posting more pillows…but can you blame me? Look at these things? So fresh and fun!

Alice

Poor little Alice, so bored at the family picnic that she followed a white rabbit down a hole who had time management issues. Little did Alice know, the picnic punch was seriously spiked, the rabbit was Lulu the cat, and the crowd got a good laugh seeing her, face down, in the salad bowl.

Fortunately, not all girls named Alice are complete flakes. In fact, there’s a really cool Alice that designs pretty little products that enhance everyday living.

I was at Lekker Home yesterday in Boston’s South End, and found these cuties that I thought you’d enjoy. The bright patterns cheered me on a drab winter day, and the dots expecially interested me because I’m a dotty type, I just love circles. I collected Mr. Yuck stickers as a kid because they were green and round, still my two favorite things in life – the color green and all things round. Thank goodness I didn’t look for the same qualities in men…

alice potholders, set of 2, various patterns, $26
alice tissue holders, several patterns available, $10 each
alice aprons, several patterns, $42 each
alice coasters, I think they were around $48 for a set of 6.

Happy Owl Glassworks

Happy Owl Glassworks is so adorable. When I first heard about them, I immediately purchased an owl pin for my jacket. For $8, you really can’t go wrong. Now, I’ve spotted the absolute cutest item for the home. It’s a night light made of fused glass with a little owl that makes every bump in the night a lot less spooky. You can also select a chubby little bunny night light. Each cost around $40. They’ve also expanded their line to include a fused glass “skunk” soap dish (shown in photo). Can’t think of a smarter image for hands that go from smelly and dirty to squeaky clean! Oh, and there’s talk of a sale coming up in the next few weeks so make sure you log onto their website after January 14th… Let me know what you find!
