Barneys New York + Others Coming to Boston!

Learn more about the opening of Barney’s here.

Just in from the Boston Globe…

“Sexy stilettos and sumptuous handbags will be up for grabs at Jimmy Choo, which is tentatively slated to open its doors at Copley Place in April. The store — the company’s 16th in the United States — is designed to have the feel of a luxurious 1940s boudoir, complete with chandeliers, velvet-quilted sofas, and satin-paneled walls, according to a company statement.

This spring, Copley Place shoppers can also look forward to the contemporary clothier Max Studio and youth-inspired Lucky Brand Jeans, a mall spokeswoman said.”

Pillows + Throws

If you’ve lost focus, just sit down, wrap up in your little blankie and watch Project Runway. That’s the best therapy for the winter blues.

I’ve been on this whole “throw” trip lately. I purchased one the other day in lime with fuschia circles stitched all over it that I just adore, and a few weeks prior, I picked up a robin’s egg blue wool throw for my bed with velvet trim. I plan to start (another) project in the next month, designing a modern quilt that’s retro inspired in the size of, you guessed it, a throw. One more mention of my throw addiction and you’re going to throw up, right? Hopefully not after you’ve seen these beauties I found today on Pillows + Throws.

SALE ALERT: By the way, Apartment Therapy mentioned that Thomas Paul pillows are on sale at Pillows + Throws since the line is being discontinued, so DO NOT miss that.

Okay here are my top picks. Aren’t they lush? Cozy up!

broad stripe throw – was $258 ON SALE $128.99
velvet circle throw (my favorite) was $258 ON SALE $128.99

Flight 001

If you’re an international man of mystery, or woman, you’ll want to check out Flight 001. Maybe some people aren’t concerned about how they look when they travel, but I actually plan my outfit days in advance and make sure everything I wear coordinates with my carry-on bag and luggage. I know, a bit over the top, but it’s just how I roll.

If you’re a tad bit OCD when it comes to looking chic as your plane lifts you off to exciting destinations (your parents house in Nebraska counts too), then check out these nifty products and see if any of them would improve your overall cuteness. Flight 001 carries everything from passport holders to laundry sets by Tocca and tech gadgets, in flight goodies, luggage, and everything else needed to make that 9 hour flight a little bit sweeter. Sorry, they don’t carry chairs with more leg room, and muzzles for those brats sitting in front of you, but with plenty of vodka and an iPod, you’ll get through it.

“Our final passenger just boarded the plane and girllll look at that – the cutest passport we ever did see. (two snaps up and a twist) Passengers, now we are ready for lift-off, baby. Mmm hmmm”

T Jackson Tag, $12

Tusk Leather Passport Cover, $38 (purple, yellow, red, grass, chocolate or orange.)

Ticket Holder, $50 (lime or floss.)

Rubber Tag Set of 4, $18

Toile Passport Cover, $15
