Looking for fabric and notions for that DIY project you’ve been dying to get started on? No more excuses! J Caroline Creative is offering decor8 readers a 20% off discount on everything and they ship worldwide. This offer is valid until November 21, 2008 and the code you enter upon checkout is “Decor8″.
Have you seen the brand new fabric collection designed by Melissa Averinos from Yummy Goods? It’s included in this offer so make sure to scoop some of this deliciousness up! Fabulous colorways and patterns as you can see above and below…
At J Caroline Creative you can find fabrics by the yard by Amy Butler, Alexander Henry (I love me some Green/Pink Coriander), Jessica Jones, Joel Dewberry, Anna Maria Horner, Kokka Fabrics from Japan, and more.
I’m quite smitten with the Andalucia Ribbons by Patty Young too, I mean how cute for craft projects and little girls dresses! And for those of you who love a good before and after? Check this out… grandma’s sofa gets a facelift.
It’s now a sexy floral sofa for lounging with your favorite design magazines… Looks a bit Anthropologie-esque, huh?
This sofa owes its makeover to the Ivory Shadow fabric by Anna Maria Horner, also in stock at J Caroline Creative and 20% just for you. What a difference some fabric can make to give life to a piece that may have otherwise ended up a Goodwill. Great work!

Robert, the talent behind isofoto, just launched a brand new shop called isoprint that you simply must check out! As you already know, I’m a big fan of arts and crafts produced by men and try my best to promote these great guys as much as I can for many reasons. One that stands out the most is that I’d like to see more guys? shop handmade sites (like Etsy or DaWanda for example) for themselves, not just for their girlfriends. There are so many great handmade items for men out there, my husband shops handmade and has purchased everything from jewelry to messenger bags and hats on Etsy, some created by men and others simply for the guy who appreciates handmade goods.
isoprint is a new illustration project Robert launched yesterday, a bit of a creative distraction for times when he is not out shooting polaroids for isofoto… he can be found hunched over his drawing board. These fantastic prints influenced by his love for mid-century design and illustration are some of his result creations. Congrats Robert, great work!
