While vacationing on the Cape this summer, make sure to explore Mari Porcari's lifestyle boutique, Weekend located at 217 Main Street in East Orleans near beautiful Nauset Beach. Located in a historic general store from in the 1800s, Weekend underwent an interior transformation 3 years ago when the store first opened. A fresh interior sporting gorgeous cork floors, sleek birch shelves, and cool summery hues of pale yellow, blue, and green, makes Weekend both inviting and serene.
Upon visiting this charming shop, a 'mini' well-edited version of a large department store like Saks or Nordstrom's, you'll find only the best in apparel, handbags, belts, accessories, jewelry, home goods, baby gifts and toys, personal care, furniture and books. Mari has an eye for good design, something that is very evident the moment you enter Weekend. With a plethora of gift shops on the Cape, I'm so excited to find a boutique devoid of oversized lobster bibs, plastic souvenirs, and beach themed tees. Weekend is a class act.
Their delicious selection of home + fashion designers include some of my personal favorites like Orla Kiely, French Bull, Judy Ross, Design House Stockholm, Vessel, Ugly Dolls, Clarissa Hulse, Salvor Fauna, Hadley Pollet, John Derian, EDE Studio, Michael Anchin, Saja, 3j Workshop, Kerry Cassill, and more.
Make it a point to visit Weekend... You're sure to fall in love with old Cape Cod.
