CB2 Fall Collection
CB2 has quite a strong collection (and budget friendly!) for Fall that just released, combining their current items with a few fresh ones for the new season. Have you checked out their latest catalog? Here are a few items that I find attractive, functional and affordable.
The exotic flair of the lovely Satula bed linens by Marimekko are a great solution for couples that are walking that fine line between masculine and feminine bedding - this is a very crisp look with an organic feel that he'll love, with the swirls and charm that she'll love. For the bathroom, the bricks rugs in chocolate or white are perfect for adding understated charm (if you want a larger more posh version, check out their fulton rug, drool!). For furniture, I'm liking the two tone hideout low cabinet to act as a mini credenza, and for lighting, the parfait pendant (only $30!) makes a great statement - suspend three in a row over your long dining room table. Elegant and cheap! If you love large graphics in black and white with moorish flavor, you'll really like the hand tufted 100% bikaner wool morocco rug. Their union dining table is great, too - the zigzag base is striking. (I wish they'd make a coffee table with this base).
Speaking of dining, if it's more space you crave, it's time to do double duty, or in this case triple, using on piece of furniture. Try the speakeasy high dining table. It seats two for dinner or acts as a cocktail bar as well as a storage cabinet with tons of storage space (the kyoto 4-part server would look nice on top).
