Alex Russell, a talented UK based freelance Illustrator and Textile Designer, has quite an impressive CV, having worked with Moschino, Nokia, Osh Kosh, Lego, Levi Strauss, Roberto Cavalli, Tommy Hilfiger, to name just a few (talk about range!). Designs can be commissioned, from graphics and patterns for fashion, interiors and branding (textiles), as well as ilustrations, images, cartoons or art. Although I'm not sure how you can purchase items designed by Alex, frankly I'm not always on the prowl for where to purchase the latest thing. I sometimes look at hundreds of websites without purchasing anything at all. For me, I'm interested in viewing artists' profiles and portfolios simply because it's interesting to learn about their process, what inspires them, and to learn a bit about the business overall. Alex has a helpful FAQ section on the site, useful to those interested in either working with Alex or someone simply curious about textile design or illustration.
