With all of the ethnic prints and patterns used in fashion and interior design collections lately, especially those from India, I thought I'd highlight two new blogs authored by loyal decor8 reader, Archana Srinivas. (You may recall that we toured her Bangalore home last summer.) Her blogs, Rang - Decor and Rang - The Colours of Life are a fabulous way to step into the world of the modern Indian woman.
I enjoy learning about what inspires Archana, from the food she enjoys to the patterns, flowers, and decorating styles that bring her joy. India is such a fascinating land of rich culture and vibrant color, which is precisely why I crave to learn more about it through the eyes of Archana.
I love blogging and the opportunities that we have to peek into cultures other than our own. The exposure we have from being a part of this growing worldwide community is like nothing I've ever seen! You can travel to magical India without leaving your desk... Isn't that a nice thought?
