Jen Oaks Illustration
I went a little nuts in Jen's etsy store yesterday, scooping up 4 prints that I have no idea what I'll do with but for $5 a piece, I think I'll figure out something. :) Are they not irresistible?
I've been thinking about starting a rotating etsy art wall in my home somewhere, as I have too many prints to show off all at once in my tiny house and think it would be fun to rotate prints with the seasons. Maybe a summer wall that then becomes an autumn wall, etc. I can use the same frames, just swap out the prints so that I'm not banging too many holes in the wall. I think in the summer, it would be nice to showcase prints of the sea and lots of pink, yellow, and blues and in the autumn, maybe leaves, umbrellas, owls and lots of pretty mustard yellow and orange tones. Or go with themes, like fashion illustration in the fall and animals in the spring. Hmmm. At this point, I need a plan of action because I have a lot of prints and little space for them.
Are you a print addict? How do you display your prints? If you have photos that you'd like to share, I'd love to post them here on decor8, so just say the word! I can collect them all and pull together a post dedicated to print display ideas or something.
Now go shop Jen Oaks! :)
{Update: I forgot to mention her online portfolio, it can be viewed right here.}
