The Constant Gatherer {Katie Runnels}
I've been an admirer of Katie Runnels ever since I heard about her via Liz in Savannah. I have a slight crush on Katie's work because well, I have a thing for her little creative arrangements of found objects captured beneath a glass cloch. They're incredibly sweet. And okay I'm a bit partial to Katie because she's based in Columbia and since I grew up in Myrtle Beach (live in New Hampshire currently) and I can't help but have special affection for a fellow Carolina girl (go South!).
Katie wrote in today to tell me about her new work on Etsy and also to let me know that tomorrow on her blog she'll be giving her fans a preview of her upcoming work for shopSCAD in Atlanta where she will be a featured artist during the month of March (what an honor!). Congrats Ms. Katie!
