I learned about The Paper Apartment over at the Market Blogger authored by the wonderful Chris who is the man behind all the great Open Markets held in Boston, Mashpee, and Providence. Check out these original collages for $40!

The Paper Apartment is Boston-based mixed media artist Angela Stasio. With a fondness for fashion, advertising and products, pattern, and textiles of times' past, Angela uses a variety of materials to create collages and illustrative work that is both unique and appealing. Some of the products she shows from the good old days scare me though, the names are crazy!

And speaking of The South End Open Market, opening weekend is just a few months away on May 17-18 from 10-5 and as always, there is free admission and free parking so if you're in Boston that weekend don't miss it. I'm so glad that Boston has Chris, we'd be lost without this man and his beautiful markets and his enthusiasm for all things handmade. I'll blog more information on the market as the day approaches.
