My Review: Martha Stewart Flowers

Sunshine is flooding my home today so it was the perfect opportunity to spend lunch photographing my new bouquet from the 1-800 Flowers Martha Stewart collection. Remember my thoughts in Craving Spring when I expressed how I felt a bit tired of the weather and was hungry for Spring and that I ordered flowers for a little pick-me-up? I ordered for the first time from Martha Stewart since I had a coupon (code: MARTHA49 gives you 15% off) and because the offer included a 1 year subscription to MS Living magazine or $15 cash back. After these discounts I saved around $23 so that felt good. I was also able to justify this purchase because of the vase included -- a matte white faux bois ceramic 'stump' with a shiny glazed interior. It's delicate and beautiful, something I'll use time and time again.

When my big aqua box arrived yesterday (Martha's signature color!) I felt kind of goofy giddy like a teenager receiving flowers from her first crush. I guess I needed them and this gift to myself more than I had thought! I'm easily sucked in to beautiful product packaging, from the chocolate grosgrain ribbon to the white tissue paper delicately patterned with the Martha logo, so I was hooked. Then there was the chocolate swirly font welcoming me to her world of flowers and gorgeousness on the box, and a sweet package that included flower food (2 packs) and a lovely little booklet discussing flowers and plants with photos and instructions to help me care for my new blooms. "Your flowers will be thirsty from their travels", it said. How cute. Now excuse me as I share 10,000 photos of my new bouquet as shown on the dresser in my bedroom, which smells like fresh picked freesia and roses. Now I'm feeling' Spring, baby! The Holly is back! :)

The above bouquet is called Rose Medley and Freesia Bouquet in case you feel like treating yourself along with me. FYI - The roses really are this orange, though the website shows them to be more peach.
