Sunday Suppers
Promise me to click on every link in this post. You won’t be sorry because each will take you to some magical places. Words cannot express how badly I want to be seated at this table, at this moment… this looks so festive and exactly how I would sum up the perfect summer’s day. Have you heard of the Sunday Suppers blog?
It’s a beauty-filled burst of flavor and color with images that will make you want to run to Brooklyn and participate in their next class. Class, you say? Oh yes… You can dine at this table. Really. There next class is Sunday June 7 and the theme? Food & Wine Pairing — A French Dinner. All I can say is Sign. Me. Up.
These photos were taken by Karen Mordechai (a Brooklyn-based photographer with a beyond gorgeous blog) and I really can’t resist looking at them over and over again. The flowers are by Jessie at Rountree Flowers (be sure to visit Jessie’s portfolio - wow).
More about Sunday Suppers and further confirmation that I need to take a trip to Brooklyn this summer, “Sunday Suppers is a collaboration by Casey Solomon and Karen Mordechai. We share a class-cooking-dining experience, pairing friends and food. The food is market fresh, local and organic and the approach is to create seasonal and fresh meals together. The classes are held in Brooklyn, New York, taught by Casey Solomon and photographed by Karen Mordechai.” If you’re interested in taking a class email: karenandcasey [at]gmail.com
Inspiration overload, am I right? Oh what a yummy post this is…
