Hello, I’m Holly Becker
Since 2006, I’ve had the absolute joy of running decor8, an award-winning interior design blog and studio based in Hannover, Germany. As an interior expert and best-selling author with four interiors books, I’ve had the pleasure of helping people tap into their creativity and to creative beautiful spaces. After seeing the excitement around my books and projects, I realized people wanted to dive deeper into mood boards. So, I teamed up with Anthropologie stores in the US and UK to teach Mood Board workshops in their stores—what a dream - and I met thousands of my fans and friends along the way.
I’ve helped so many to fall in love with interiors and to set up their homes, but I’ve also worked with clients to create everything from trade show exhibitions to product lines, including my own magazine HOLLY in which I was the Creative Director. I’ve created mood boards for every design project, product line, and brand redesign I’ve ever touched - my mood boards have sold all of my ideas effortlessly because I know exactly how to make mood boards that get noticed which is why I want to teach you how to do the same.
Just this past January, I hosted a live 4-day Mood Board workshop for 80 amazing guests at a design fair, and that’s when I knew it was time to bring this magic online. I want to share all I’ve learned beyond in-person events, and so, Mood Board Magic was born!

How does this course work?
This 3-week online course lets you interact with Holly Becker and fellow learners through both the classroom and community forum on Teachable.
Lessons are released once a week on Monday to keep you organized and foster learning. Optional homework assignments are provided each week for your personal enrichment.
The course is self-paced, with 2 live coaching calls. Recordings of live calls will be made available within 24 hours if you miss them. Holly Becker will be active throughout, answering questions in the forum and lesson comments.
You’ll get access upon enrollment and payment to some course overview materials and to the student forum, however the course lessons won’t be released until October 7, 2024 (Module One). Module Two will release October 14 and Module Three plus the Bonus Module will release on October 21st. The course includes lifetime access, and if it’s ever removed, you’ll have at least 3 months' notice to download everything.
