I was so happy this year to work for Milan-based publishing house, Design Diffusion, to tour some of their favorite spots around Salone del Mobile 2018 with some of my favorite blogger colleagues. Last year, the tour was very good but this year, it was fantastic. I can't wait to share my report and also 10 trends that I spotted as I explored each stand.

Dimore Gallery, founded by genius, gorgeous and extra create couple Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, blew me away this year. Last year, their gallery was more literal with rooms and scenes that you could imagine living in. This year, they flipped everything that was right into a very good "wrong" that worked somehow and stimulated my imagination like crazy.

When I first laid eyes on the photography of Permanent Press Editions, I was smitten. My favorite collections instantly were the more abstract pieces, particularly Editions 3 (A monochromatic study molds delicate materials in translucent sculptural forms), 5 (Flat botanical prints are reanimated as dimensional geometric compositions), and 6 (Defined by the weightless shells they inhabit, everyday products become luminous, delicate volumes).
