Etsy HQ Grand Opening in Brooklyn!

Cool news discovered by Brooklyn fashionista, Elaine Perlov. Looks like Etsy plans to rule the roost down in Brooklyn, represeting the indie craft scene with so much in the works... Check out their impressive offerings below.

Etsy HQ is not only meant to serve as Etsy office space in Brooklyn, but will be the creative communal space in Brooklyn, a future home to trunk shows, workshops, seminars, parties, and a lending library. Etsy says they're working on the Etsy Labs, which will house a silkscreen press, letterpress, jewelry making stations, sewing machines, sergers, and film, music, and video production facilities. Kicking off with a small opening party on February 1st, they'll then open the doors to all of the creative minds out there. This sounds like such an amazing project, I love the whole hands-on factor here, and the opportunity to meet and greet so many other talented artists and designers sounds thrilling. I've been a fan of Etsy from the start, so I'm thrilled for them. Click here for more information. Best of success to Rob and everyone else involved in this Etsy project!
