Enoki Cumulus Light: Hot or Not?

April 19, 2013

Can we talk about this Enoki Cumulus pendant light for a moment because I’m really in love with it. You guys are going to love it too. It reminds me of a modern take on similar vintage pendants found in grandma’s homes everywhere across Germany. My husband’s grandmother had one, it was more oval shape, covered in fabric that was gathered at the top and bottom and looked a little like a floating shower cap. This is defintely a better take, and I find them quite stunning. In fact, I want one now!

Swoon! I love that they also come flat-packed so they’re super easy to ship. In fact, Enoki, you can ship one to my house right away! Please, don’t hold back.

What do you think about them in different fabrics? Or do you like the white? I like the white because it really looks casual and airy, but I bet covering it in a pretty print from Liberty would be gorgeous in a kid’s room, too and would love to see that.

What do you think of the Enoki Cumulus light? Hot or Not? I vote HOT.

Superbe trouvaille. J’aime beaucoup ce concept de suspensions très aériennes et facile à transporter ou à customiser au grès de son humeur. Une idé du prix?

Oh, this pendant lamp looks so cool! I like the possibility to customise it with different fabrics (although I’m quite sure I’d go with the white version) and the shape of the frame is also beautiful!

I’m a sacred geometry lover and artist, so I love the shape, a hexagon if I am not mistaken. Hot in colors! Love the yellow one.. :)

I think they’re really great, and when I was looking at them it suddenly occurred that I could turn the eye sore 1970’s lamp hanging from our foyer into one of these with a slipcover!

I’m not totally sold on the white yet, but I think the patterned version are so fun!

HOT! They remind me brazilian designer Baba Vacaro’s work. Take a look in this Chilean blog http://www.depto51.cl/2012/10/30/intuicion-a-flor-de-piel-baba-vacaro/

Like it best in white. I find the colors distracting in this shape.

i love the coloured ones, especially the elephants, really pretty. I guess it would be easy to make your own shades too. Shame though that they are all the way over in Australia!

I loooove these. So simple, fresh and versatile. I especially like the printed ones. They’re like the more sophisticated relative of the traditional rice paper shade. HOT.
