Slow but Steady + NY Int'l Gift Show
I know, I know... I was a little quiet today. Truth is, I spent the day writing a press release for a client and sending it to all of my media contacts. What a chore! I didn't realize how extensive my list had grown; but it seems everyone at Domino, Lucky, etc. are still employed because the emails haven't bounced yet. :) Then again, if I worked at Domino or Lucky, I'd never quit my job either. I have to call them all tomorrow to make sure they read it. Fun!
In addition to the press stuff, I had to edit content and upload new pages for a website I'm working on. While working on that, my contract arrived from my editor which alerted me to the fact that I have a 1,000 word article due ASAP. That will be on the plate for tomorrow, January 25th. I quit corporate america last October, spent a month in Germany and Zurich, and when I got back, I haven't stopped running.
With all that said, I'll see you again tomorrow (1/25) with a few fresh finds and then I'll be signing off again to sink into developing my article. Also have to paint the addition to our home tomorrow afternoon into the evening after the contractors leave. What a mess my space is in! But, not to worry, I'll still be posting everyday, but I doubt I'll be posting more than 2-4x a day, at least this week.
Next Sunday and Monday is the NY International Gift Show, I can't wait as it's my first year to attend, so I'll have all kinds of goodies to post about next week.... I can't wait to see the new Lotta Jansdotter and Hable Construction goodies at the show. Have you ever been to the NY Int'l gift show? Any comments?
