Murs Portables - Hester van Dijk
Another presentation that held my attention was the project "Murs Portables" by Hester van Dijk from Overtreders W. Multi-functional walls that allow the home dweller to not only move them around as they choose (they are free-standing) but these architectural partitions (padded, "x" design, blinds, shades, etc.) can also serve multiple fuctions - to filter light, to insulate for either blocking sound or adding warmth, to frame a space, to block light, create privacy, the list goes on and on... But always to create visual interest. These would be gorgeous in a loft environment or office space, don't you think?
