Make Up The Wall
Maria Kirk Mikkelsen is the 34-year-old textile designer behind Make Up The Wall based in Copenhagen. Maria lives to create. In fact, she says that she has no real hobbies because her satisfaction comes from her work -- she doesn't need anything else.
In addition to creating, she teaches textile design and the design process at The Scandinavian Design College. I found out about her aluminum wall stencils and had to share them with you because I think they're so clever - you can use them to trace designs on your wall in any pattern you'd like using markers or crayons, then you can either fill in the designs with paint or nothing at all.
