Grace Home Furnishings {LA}

Interior Designer Vanessa De Vargas of Turquoise LA wants to share with us a store she's nuts about in LA called Grace Home Furnishings. I can clearly see why, just look at these blue and white rooms below, so elegant. And I adore the idea of using art over bedside tables, you could mimic this with fabric or wallpaper framed for a little DIY project that would look just as nice.

Grace Home Furnishings is a wonderful well known home d?cor and furnishings showroom located in Brentwood just off Sunset Blvd in California. You might be familiar with the store since they always have their chocolate Labrador in their magazine advertisements.

The showroom is always changing with new upholstered beds, chairs and sofas in wonderful coordinating fabrics. The styling of the store is always well decorated and every time I visit I feel like they have tons of new items available that I have not seen before.

I am a huge fan of the Hayworth Nightchest with the combination mirror and wood cabriole legs. It really stands out against a dark wall and makes a smaller room appear a bit larger since mirrors have a way of tricking the eye.

I'm also liking the Ambassador buffet with the delicate molding and glossy white lacquer, which would look great paired with a geometric wallpaper or a dark gray wall.

Visit their online product gallery and see for yourself all the great products that are available for viewing. Tear sheets are now available for download which includes pricing and dimensions.

Make sure you check out the new Spring 2008 issue of O At Home (pages shown above) where event planner Mindy Weiss decorated her home with lots of Grace Home goodies! Isn't that bedroom gorgeous? - Vanessa De Vargas.

Thanks Vanessa for introducing us to Grace Home Furnishings! A note to readers, if you can't afford the price tags on some of the beautiful finds that Vanessa loves, hit your local antique store or flea market and refinish things yourself. Sometimes it's all about finding stores that inspire you like Grace Home Furnishings and buying what you can afford there and for the things you don't have enough cash for, take away inspiration from your visit. Often you can see something in a store and then find something just like it for $40 at a tag sale and transform the unloved find into a beloved treasure. How hard is it to prep and paint a dresser and add some new knobs, right?
